My Mother's Day 2025

Sunday, May 11 Our Mother's Day 2025 Well, we are home for ONE day.  This is a crazy month! Gifts and cards from my girls. :) We went to Connection Group that Eric taught and then church service. The girls made us a nice, homemade lunch. Pretty sure some of the clothes my college girls are wearing now are things I wore as a teen! It was a hectic ONE day at home. :). The girls were unpacking from their year of college and settling back in their room.  Plus we had to do laundry to pack again for our next LONG trip.

Gulf Islands National Seashore

After we toured Fort Pickens, we stopped at the beach and got in the ocean.  It was a beautiful day. Another national park site checked off my list for Florida!   It is a gorgeous beach area and would definitely come again. My mama It was just a quick stop as we had to drive home and Rachel and Kylee had to get to the airport.

Gulf Islands National Seashore: Fort Pickens

Saturday, May 10 So much rain!  Three inches and another inch to come. The sun is coming out! I wanted to visit another national park site - Gulf Islands National Seashore .  I always love getting another stamp in my passport book and marking another place off the list. :) Rachel and Kylee went to the beach.  Our family went to tour Fort Pickens which is in the national seashore.  Another fort explored! I love visiting these forts.  So much to think about when you walk around them. My favorite are the window views from the forts. :) The seashore. View from the top of the fort walls. Getting their Junior Ranger badges.
