Snowy December Days


My sister, Rachel, sent me this awesome mug!  I couldn't wait to use it!  It's just perfect. :)


One of our favorite Christmas movies - Elf!


I got a new Bible for 2019 - it is a journaling Bible so it has space for note taking, stickers, coloring and more.  I started it a couple weeks ago and really enjoy it!
I like the Twistables colored pencils for highlighting verses.  They don't bleed through and have a lot of pretty choices.




We brought in our real tree and put it in the dining room.  It is way bigger than what it seemed outside.  It look gigantic in comparison to our fake tree.  LOL!


Our dog, Belle.  I swear she is the comfort of all comfort seekers!  LOL!


Wednesday morning, we were surprised with a beautiful snow!  Our boss gave us an extra two hour late start so I actually was home to enjoy the scene.  It was such a nice morning!




Just beautiful!





I just love beautiful snows in the winter. :)

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
