Goodbye July!

Goodbye July!  What a month it was.  I like this picture because we got to go rafting this July. :)  I hope your July was pleasant!

Summer Gieseler Visit: Day 2

My handsome boy, Smokey Bear. :) Wednesday morning, July 28th, I had a vet visit for Smokey at 10:30am.  I dropped the girls off to visit with the family at Rachel's at 9:30am while I was gone.  I also did a chiropractor visit and stop at Winco for a few items while I was out. After they had lunches at the park, Josh, Rhoda and Rachel took the kids to the outlet mall for a little shopping.  While they were gone, I went over to Rachel's to finish up some of the food.   We made Shepherd's Pie for dinner with bread and butter. Then there was church service and youth group at 6:30pm.

Happy Birthday, Kylee!

Happy 15th birthday to my niece, Kylee!  It was fun being able to celebrate all together as a family for her special day.  I hope you have a great year!

Summer Gieseler Visit: Day 1

On Tuesday, July 27th, we went to the Trail of Ten Falls for the first activity of the Gieseler's visit.  The following photos are all from this hike.  The water was definitely down from when we came back in March.   Evan, Jack and Sierra. Summer and Melanie. Evan, Sierra, Summer and Melanie. Autumn, Kylee and Sierra. The hike was 11.1 miles.  It took us quite awhile to hike, play and eat.   For dinner, we came home and had marinated chicken legs, Italian pasta salad and wate rmelon.
