Happy Graduation Day, Autumn!

Today is the day! Our second daughter, Autumn, graduates today from high school. She home-schooled with Abeka Academy from K-4 through 12th grade. And today, she will be walking with other home school graduates from across the United States and the world to receive her diploma in Pensacola, FL.

While you wish they could stay little forever and those memories are so very precious, you are so grateful for who they have become in Christ.

A whole new journey begins today for Autumn. Full-time job, college, and adulthood. Congratulations, my daughter! We love you and are so proud of you!

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure. 100 Days of Joy and Strength. I was struggling last night. Darkness seemed to overwhelm me. The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope." Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;" II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light." Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
