Recipe: Easy Stuffed Mushrooms

I am making these for our Super Bowl party. :)  Enjoy!

Easy Stuffed Mushrooms

1-3 lbs. mushrooms

Filling:
8 ounces of cream cheese softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2-3 green onions, finely minced
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove minced garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper

Topping:
3 tbsp. seasoned bread crumbs
1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Grease a rimmed baking pan, or dish, or line with parchment paper or foil.

Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth or paper towel.  Remove the stems.  Place the mushroom caps in the prepared pan.

In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, parmesan cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic or garlic powder, salt, and pepper.  Mix with a hand mixer on medium until well combined.

Pipe the filling into the mushroom caps.

Mix the bread crumbs, melted butter, and grated Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.  Sprinkle over the stuffed mushrooms.

Bake, until mushrooms are tender and crumbs are browned, approximately 17-20 min.
Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
