My New Happy Spot!

Nothing that makes my morning better than sunshine streaming in my living room!
The first thing I got to doing was an oil change and tire rotation for the SUV.
I also picked up my husband's football jersey at the cleaners and had a visit to the chiropractor.
Then shopping at Wal-Mart.


My special order came in while I was doing errands.  The girls had brought it upstairs.  Autumn and I opened it and got it into my room and assembled it - so easy!


I was so hungry by then and dying to try my fresh baked bread with my spreadable butter I made yesterday -sooooo good!


Before I even got to try my new chair, someone else decided to try it!  She's so cute!





And this is it!  A little project I have been wanting to do.
 I've always wanted a little reading nook.  
A place to read, pray, have quiet time.  Autumn helped me put it together and I love it so much!
What a great start to my weekend!

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
