This is going to be a very long post! My BIL, Josh Gieseler, was voted in as the next pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Turner, Maine. My sister, Rachel and I flew to Apache Junction to help our sister start the packing process.
Wednesday, October 22 - Wednesday, October 29
My very early morning flight. I decided to get a strawberry smoothie and boy was it what I needed.
Right away, we got to work. First we decided what meals to have what days. I found this recipe in Rhoda's cookbook.
We then began posting things on Offer Up.
Then it was off to their Wednesday evening service for their missions conference. Melanie and Luke sang.
Luke is in the glasses in the back row.
Melanie is in the center is the salmon colored top.
The next morning, we picked up Rachel from the airport. We had grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch while we worked.
Lots of work going through things of what to keep, donate or throw away.
Rhoda is a keeper and had stuff all the way back to her childhood.
Old youth conference brochures.
Of course, lots of old photos! Me, Addie, Autumn and ?

Now this crying laughing spell will be another memory! It is truly only memories sisters can make!

Boy did we look goofy. LOL! Wearing dumb skirts in the winter with bulky layers underneath to try to keep warm in freezing Chicago. You looked and felt awful.

On our last day, we went out for lunch at a place called Sister's Cafe. :)
They put photos of sisters on their wall!
No one from Florida had put a pin in their map! I was the first one.
The owner's daughter took this picture for us to put on their wall. :)
This was all the stuff we got to (there was probably more after we left) that Rhoda did not want to keep and decided to put in her garage sale!
A job well done! Last time for us to see her MIL's home there in AZ.
We went to Soda Rush for a drink.
