Finishing School and Heading Into the Holiday!

The middle of December was filled with finishing up our school semester/nine weeks, wrapping gifts, and watching Christmas movies/shows.
Mom sent everyone a pair of socks for Christmas so I separated them and wrapped them individually in these little snowmen bags. :)

The kitties.

They coexist but I wouldn't say they love each other.  LOL!

She actually almost fell asleep with Autumn holding her.  Ha!

I really have been able to make it through a lot of audiobooks this year!

Our last day of school in 2022!  Wednesday, December 21.  Plowing through those nine weeks tests.

Messy weather in our forecast.

Captain Jack wasn't much help in school.  LOL!

Coyotes were a common sighting in Nevada.  They are becoming a common sighting too here in Oregon, I guess!  This coyote was spotted right down the street from our house.

Watching all the Christmas episodes from Little House.  I actually watch them during the year too though!  :)

They are the best!

My big ol' kitty who will actually sit on my lap!

And ending with White Christmas - has become one of our favorites. :)

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
