My 48th Birthday

Well, today is my 48th birthday.


Summer had this set out for me when I got up on my birthday. :)



I had a nice quiet morning with my peaceful ambience and my Bible.


I started my new prayer journal that my husband gave me for my birthday.
I had a massage scheduled at 10:45am at the massage school.


Just being thankful I don't live in Oregon anymore!  Gah.  That dreary weather!!


My beautiful Florida weather!!


Sierra, Summer and I went to Texas Roadhouse for a late lunch/early dinner.  I got a free appetizer so we got the cactus blossom.


Of course, the delicious rolls and cinnamon-honey butter.


Sierra got steak and I got the catfish.


Summer got a breaded steak and I would suggest never to get this.  It was way too much breading.  



I went to the chiropractor and to the mall for a freebie at Bath and Body.  I also got my free Starbucks drink.


I did get a little pool time reading.



We had some nice desserts Summer made and watched Anne of Green Gables.





Then it was off to bed with my babies.
Here's to another year of life. :)

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
