Thursday at Liberty University

On Thursday, the youth choir visited the campus of Liberty University in Virginia.



































Back at home, my new lamps arrived.  I assembled them all.  Two for Addie and Autumn's room, one for Sierra's room and one for Summer's room.  They have three settings and I really like them!




I stopped by Chick-Fil-A for a free sandwich and they were giving out free samples of the dragonfruit drink.

I just love feta pasta!  And I got my peach tea freebie from Dutch Bros.



Autumn got on the social media page for PCC!  This is her with her collegian.

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
