Summer Flashbacks!

Our neighbors/landlords were gone on vacation for a week. They let us use their pool and hot tub. It was the best week of the summer!

Nothing that says relaxation like having a pool right next door. We would go over and catch the sun in the pool all afternoon - it was a very shady backyard. In the evening after dinner, we would go over and use the hot tub when it was dusk until dark/bedtime.

Watermelon smoothies and a good book! My favorites in the summer sun!

I could definitely live in a summer like place all year long. I love my sun!

Disney Vacation 2024 Day 1 - Magic Kingdom We bought the Memory Maker. These are all the photos from Day 1 that the staff took for us. :). I absolutely loved getting this! You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure. 100 Days of Joy and Strength. I was struggling last night. Darkness seemed to overwhelm me. The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope." Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;" II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light." Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
