The Countdown Is Almost Done

 Final goodbyes are so tough.  This is my cousin's daughter.  Amanda is my cousin and this is Harper, her daughter.  Summer and Harper were peas in a pod and just clicked from the moment they met.  I am so glad they had this time together.  They even have the same middle name - Lyn.




For the last couple days, we slept on air mattresses in my bedroom in order to keep the entire second floor clean.



We had a good laugh at my dad trying on this overcoat.  Just a little small.  To the garbage it went!


I love this picture - my beautiful babies with my wonderful parents.


Mom and Dad love Max so we had to get a picture of them. :)


Hardest moment in leaving Ohio - leaving behind my parents.  I love them dearly and thank God for them!


One last bath before our road trip!

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
