Busy July Week

Week of July 6 - 12

My girls are so busy and don't send me a lot of photos. Sometimes I just have to steal photos they post cause I want that memory!
Autumn and her cabin one of the weeks of camp.

Eric and I had to fly out that morning for San Antonio for our next Aspire event.  I love getting to see Sierra and Summer sing on the Praise team that morning.

I love to see them praising our God!

Sierra-left.  Summer-right.

You can watch the service HERE.

I miss my kitties when I travel.  The girls send me funny and cute pictures of them.

More photos from camp. :)

While I was away in San Antonio, Nugget was out slaying dragons.
I mean snakes.  LOL!

My husband speaking at the Diamond Lunch at the Aspire event we put on.

Monday, we set up for the event.  Tuesday was day of event.  Wednesday we flew home.

We were delayed when we landed in Jax.  They wouldn't let us off the plane due to a thunderstorm and lightning.
We finally got home and went straight to choir practice.

I finished this book on the flight.  Really great information!
Read it!

More of my camp girlies!

My handsome boy, Cappie Jack.
Eric left and drove to Orlando on Thursday.  I got the lawn mowed and trimmed just in time before the next storm hit.

Friday, Cappie decided to stay upstairs.  And barely move.  Once in awhile this happens and it sure worries me.  He is FIV+ so he has more health issues.  But he was OK.  Just likes to worry me I guess!

On Friday, I went to the chiropractor, baked bread and made doctor appts.  More rain!

Normal Saturday.  More rain.
Summer cleaned her room.  It looks so nice when she keeps it clean.

Lots of packages coming in for college.

Brad - Addie's boyfriend - who is also a camp counselor.

My cats stick close to me when I come home from traveling.

He's absolutely ridiculous.  LOL!

Guess who made it downstairs?  Not until the next day but I don't care.  I'm glad he is ok.

I love my vitamin case!  You keep all of them in one case but take out each day if you want.  Packing for our next trip!

More photos of my girls in Pensacola.

That's the recap for this week!  We are ready to take off in the morning!  Ahh!

Happy 45th Birthday, Eric!

Happy birthday to my husband, Eric!   He turns 45 today.  I am surprising him with tickets to a Miami Dolphins game in Miami.  I got him tickets one other time years ago when we lived in Reno.  We drove to Oakland to see the Dolphins play the Raiders.  I think this will be a great memory for him and a home game too! Happy birthday, babe!

Recipe: Chicken Parmesan

Chicken Parmesan This is a delicious recipe from Magnolia Table: Volume 2. 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts  1/4 tsp. kosher salt 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper 2 large eggs 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 sleeve (30-40) buttery crackers, crushed 4 oz. Parmesan cheese, grated (about 1 cup) 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice 1/2 cup mayo 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley (optional) Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. (I cut the chicken breasts in half to make thinner.).  Season with salt and pepper. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and garlic salt until combined.  In another bowl, combine the crackers and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan. Dredgs each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then in the cracker mixture, and set the chicken aside on a plate. In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of the oil over medium heat.  Add 2 pieces of the chicken and cook until the cracker coating is crispy and golden brown, 3 or 4 minutes on each side.  Remove to a sheet pan or b...
