Disney Family Vacation 2024 - Day Four - Epcot

Day 3 in the parks!  Epcot!

Epcot is divided into many different countries.

The countries they highlight are Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, America, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

They have rides, stores, decor, and food in each country that represent that country.

Disney Skyliner

It is very pretty and well done.  Very large and a lot of walking!  There is a lot to take in in each country.

This is part of France.

Going on the Remy's Ratatouille Adventure ride which was cute.

My personal photos don't do it justice.  The details for each country and throughout the park.  It would take a lot of time, a good eye, and a great photographer to catch all the unique details.  From the buildings and decor to the costumes the workers wear to the food and shops - it is all a sensory experience.

Morocco

Belle from Beauty and the Beast!  Loved seeing all the characters in Epcot and getting our photos taken.  Each princess/character could be found in the country that corresponded to her movie.

This was Japan, I believe.

Meeting the princess, Mulan!  (See photos with her in the official Disney photos post. :)

America!  I loved the style they decorated in.

It was done in the colonial era.

Italy

Germany

Getting a sweet treat

Snow White!  She was so cute.

Mexico - the ride and a restaurant are inside this building.

We packed our lunches daily and got a locker to keep them in.  We would then walk to our locker and find a place close to sit to eat.  Saved a lot of money for a family of six.  We brought summer sausage, cheese cubes, cheese sticks, crackers, granola bars, grapes, jerky, applesauce cups, etc.  We also brought a soda.

Another ride we went on.  The American Adventure

Spaceship Earth ride

Getting some afternoon kick with Starbucks.

Ride - Living with the Land

Of course, I like the ride that talks about gardening!

They use the food they grow for the restaurants in the parks!

Getting in line for Frozen Ever After.

Cute ride but way too long of a line to wait for it.

Sweets from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway.

Going to get our photo with Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus in Norway!  (See official Disney photos in separate posts. :)
Here are a few videos.

Restaurant and ride-Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros in Mexico.

United Kingdom!  Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Fireworks to end the night.

All our Memory Maker Official Photos for Epcot can be found in this separate post.
I definitely recommend investing the money into purchasing the Memory Maker!

Check out our family photos here for Epcot!

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."  Psalm 27

Ten Tips for Sunday School Teachers

Ideas for Sunday School Teachers: 1.  Write a note to each student and mail it to their home. 2.  Visit the child in his home and bring a small treat. 3.  Make a special treat once a month for your students on Sunday. 4.  Have a Sunday School class activity on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. 5.  Pray for your students. 6.  Have a monthly or quarterly contest for your students.  Include bringing their Bible, saying memory verses, attendance, etc.  Award small prizes. 7.  Have a special craft once a month. 8.  Rev up your teaching time!  Use props such as costumes, pictures, videos.  Make your lesson time come alive.  Teach your lesson 2-3 times during the week out loud – you will be amazed at how you will be able to teach it to your students – not just following the words in the book. 9.  After the lesson, be creative!  Students should not just be sitting and waiting for Sunday School hour to end.  You have 45 minutes each week to impact that little life.  Make e
