Disney Family Vacation 2024 - Day Three - Hollywood Studios

Day two at the parks - Hollywood Studios!
This was our first time here.  We didn't know what to expect and we really loved it!

The first ride we ran to was the Hollywood Tower of Terror.  It ended up being our favorite ride there at Hollywood Studios!

Video of us on the ride.

We headed to the Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith.

I took this photo because it reminded me of one of our old church speakers back when I was a kid.  LOL!

We then went to see one of the shows - Beauty and the Beast.  It was so well done!

After that, we went to another show that showed how they filmed movies like Indiana Jones.  Really cool!

I tried to take some photos of what all the buildings looked like at Hollywood Studios.  It was built to reflect the 1930's and 40's of Hollywood.  We LOVED it!

I wish I was a better photographer and could capture the neat details.

The Mickey Mouse ride

A small museum telling the story of Walt Disney and the parks.

I love the vintage history.

Oh, our sweet Figaro.  Who we named our first cat after.

Aww!

Toy Story Land

Star Wars-Galaxy's End World
Even though we are not Star Wars people, this world was well done!

The Storm Troopers came out and talked to everyone!

Toy Story Shooting Gallery Ride

Summer's dinner

A few pictures at dusk of Hollywood Studios
Again, just loved this park!  The details are so fun and at night - even more features appear.

There was a short light/music/video show first.

Then there was a fantastic water/light show!

Word to the wise - don't sit behind a pole.

It was a great show!

You can see ALL our Memory Maker Official Disney Photos HERE in this post!

I highly recommend getting the memory maker if you visit a park.  You can stop so many places and have a staff member take your family photo.  We have so many great photos from this trip from our memory maker! :)

See our Hollywood Studios Memory Maker photos here!

Getting more towels when we got back VERY late because they didn't come to do our room service.

Didn't vacuum the hallway for days.

This is the built-up gross disgusting gunk in our kitchenette in our hotel room.  So done with this hotel!

Happy 45th Birthday, Eric!

Happy birthday to my husband, Eric!   He turns 45 today.  I am surprising him with tickets to a Miami Dolphins game in Miami.  I got him tickets one other time years ago when we lived in Reno.  We drove to Oakland to see the Dolphins play the Raiders.  I think this will be a great memory for him and a home game too! Happy birthday, babe!

Recipe: Chicken Parmesan

Chicken Parmesan This is a delicious recipe from Magnolia Table: Volume 2. 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts  1/4 tsp. kosher salt 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper 2 large eggs 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 sleeve (30-40) buttery crackers, crushed 4 oz. Parmesan cheese, grated (about 1 cup) 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice 1/2 cup mayo 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley (optional) Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. (I cut the chicken breasts in half to make thinner.).  Season with salt and pepper. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and garlic salt until combined.  In another bowl, combine the crackers and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan. Dredgs each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then in the cracker mixture, and set the chicken aside on a plate. In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of the oil over medium heat.  Add 2 pieces of the chicken and cook until the cracker coating is crispy and golden brown, 3 or 4 minutes on each side.  Remove to a sheet pan or b...
