Here is a recipe for apple cider to enjoy on an October evening!
Mulled Apple Cider
1/2 gallon (8 cups) fresh apple cider
12 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
1/4 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
1 piece (3 inches) lemon peel
In a saucepan, bring all ingredients (2 cinnamon sticks) to a simmer (medium-high heat).
Lower the heat to medium-low and cook without boiling for 15 minutes.
Serve - garnish with extra cinnamon sticks.
