On Wednesday, October 15th, we toured Magnolia Plantation & Gardens. It was a neat experience!
Of course the live oaks are amazing!
It was established in 1679.
Part of the ticket was a tour on a little train around the plantation grounds.
Lots of gators all over the property.
Cutie turtle sunning.
I love the gardens!
The plantation house
We also took a tour of the plantation home and really enjoyed that! We weren't allowed to take pictures inside.
All the blooms you would find on the plantation.
We had lunch and then took an amazing tour of the different eras of slave cabins. We had an amazing guide named John who gave an exceptional history narrative of the plantation. I highly recommend it!
If you are ever in the Charleston area, I highly recommend visiting Magnolia Plantation & Gardens!
