We drove home that morning from Miami. Checking to see what is off my tomato plants. They are at the end of their season but still have some tomatoes.
I will learn the tricks of tomatoes in Florida if it kills me.
I finished my Bible reading plan for the year. I really like this plan on You Version.
Oh my Nuggie!
On the way to drop off Summer at the church, we saw this vehicle car gone through the entire store window.
Got my new items from Passionate Penny Pincher. A password book, an address book and a sermon notebook. So pretty!
Summer went and helped at our church's harvest party community event. I stayed home. Totally depleted from this month's travel. When they got home, we watched It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
Saturday, November 1
It was a chilly start to the day.
Addie got me a Bible reading plan devotional for last Christmas. I started it today as my new through the Bible reading plan. It is so pretty!
My little mums are still pretty. :)
Our feral, Newton, catching some sunshine.
I just love my lemon tree!
Cappie had his vet appt. for his yearly vaccines. He got a 3 year rabies vaccine and FVRCP. He also had his ears cleaned and got dewormer.
Summer made us some delicious feta pasta - this is seriously like my favorite dish.
We enjoyed the sunshine and outdoors while getting some school things done.
In the evening, I enjoyed some hot apple cider while getting some blogging done. I love fall!
Sunday, November 2
Daylight savings time - yuck.
We had Connection Groups at 9:30am and church at 10:45am. After church, we stayed for a visual recording of a music video we are making.
Today I had to start my low fiber diet for my upcoming colonoscopy. Fun times.
Summer had a birthday party in the afternoon for her friend, Hadassah. Then off to Youth Group.
My first harvested lemon off my tree. :)
Summer's snacks crack me up!
Our neighbors like to leave their talking skeleton on after Halloween.
The beginnings of trouble with the Volvo. The college kids Facetiming with me about a dead battery.
Even their dad was on the other line with them. Not so funny but funny memory.
Monday, November 3
This week will be a busy week of appointments.
At 8am, I was first in line for a tire rotation at Discount Tire for the Cruze.
At 9:30am, I had an appointment for my night guard fitting at my dentist office. Done!
After that, I went to the chiropractor at 10am which is right down from the dentist.
I had time before my next appt. to stop and look for a dress at Ross for Fine Arts. I found two and a fancy coat. :)
Then my next appt. was a mammogram at 11:40pm. Done!
Then I washed and vacuumed the Cruze.
Tuesday, November 4
It was an early morning with an oil change appointment for the Jeep at 8:30am.
Today is my fasting day for my colonoscopy. Fun times.
At 2pm, Summer had her consultation for braces at the Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics.
Then it was off to her riding lesson at 5:30pm. I also had to start the meds for the colonoscopy. I would say that is the worst experience in my life. I couldn't stop vomiting. All night up to going into my appointment in the morning.
The ease of the actual colonoscopy - fine. Just that prep part was absolutely horrendous. They actually found a significant polyp that they removed and will send off for a biopsy.
It is DONE.
I got some real food on the way home. :)
I made a new recipe - easy Pad Thai. I didn't care for it too much.
Sierra had to work so Summer and I couldn't make it to choir practice because I was still under anesthesia.
We had a new visitor.
Thursday, November 6
Today I had my pap smear at my doctor office at 8:45am.
DONE.
That was my last health procedure to update. I am grateful to get it all in this year. And for the health insurance to enable me to do so.
After my doctor visit, I went and got the tires rotated on the Jeep.
Then I stopped at JC Penney's for a new suit jacket for Eric for Fine Arts.
Then it was off to American Heritage Girls at 4:30pm for club meeting.
