On Sunday, October 12, we visited Shenandoah National Park for the first time.
The entire day, it was foggy. I kept hoping it would clear but it didn't.
It was the only national park site that we visited on this trip that had the visitor center open. The only stamp I got for my book.
When I say the fog was thick, it was thick. This was the view at the top of a hike we did. Absolutely no view.
There was pockets of color on the hikes. :)
Marker for the Appalachian Trail which is another site in my national park book.
More "views".
Another view! Ha.
What luck.
This hike was very pretty with the leaves and rocks.
Pretty ending to the hike - this waterfall.
Our snacks for the day - tuna, cheese, crackers.
A little bit of the mountains as we were leaving the park.
Glad to have checked off another National Park off our list!
