A new week! Sierra has a lot to finish up for this third nine weeks but she is working a lot of hours and has extracurricular events so sometimes it is a little hectic at this point. Summer is doing well and we are plugging away.

A look back on February 2025.

Addie sent me a photo of Autumn singing in the Sunday night choir. I love to see her using her vocal talents for the Lord.

Oh, my Nuggie. I am so happy you are safe and have a warm, soft place to sleep now.

I made hamburger helper and salads for dinner. I decided not to grocery shop this week and try to use things I have in my pantry, fridge and freezer.

Tuesday, March 4

Is this funny? It is the only way we can get his nails trimmed. Feed him Churu. :)

Plugging away at school.

I went to the gym and got a workout in.

I made fish filets, red potatoes, and zucchini and squash.

Then I took Summer to her horse riding lesson. There was a beautiful sunset.

I was able to finish another book.

Battle for the American Mind by Pete Hegsesth. He is our new Secretary of Defense. Thought-provoking book.

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure. 100 Days of Joy and Strength. I was struggling last night. Darkness seemed to overwhelm me. The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope." Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;" II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light." Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
