Today is Day 121 of our school year. Sierra worked from 8-3:30pm.
I did my normal housework. I am trying to follow the cleaning schedule in my planner.
I made a new recipe for dinner - Crispy cheddar pork chops and veggies. Another recipe we liked so I will be adding this to our rotation and sharing this recipe with you soon. :)
I took Summer to her horse riding lesson. The weather was beautiful and I enjoyed getting my steps in around the stable.

A beautiful butterfly on my flowers.
Today is Day 122 of our school year.
On Wednesdays, we have choir practice. In our practice, a choir member will give the welcome. Miss Eva asked me to give the welcome. I was so nervous! I could hardly get anything done that day because I was concentrating on doing the welcome. Is anyone else like this?
I gave the welcome and used my sourdough starter as an illustration. When you make a loaf of sourdough bread, you take small part of your starter, add it to flour, salt and water, and you will create a delicious loaf of bread. My illustration was everywhere you go, you can give out a little life - "a little of your sourdough starter" - into others. Our worship pastor does this - he gives a little life into all those around him. He was an integral part of our family staying at Westside and becoming a part! I made his family a loaf of sourdough and thanked him.
I prayed God would speak through me. I prayed this would be the right thing to say. I feel God used it in an amazing way to those who heard it. Thank you, Jesus, for taking stumbling words and giving them life.
