Rainy Mondays and Crunch Wraps


Sunday, February 23

Another beautiful Lord's day.  We had Connection Group at 9:30am and church at 10:45am.

The teens going on the Youth Choir Tour had an extended practice from 12:30-4:30pm.  Then they had Youth Group after that.  So they were gone all day until 8pm.

I did my weekly grocery shopping after church.

Monday, February 24

Today is Day 120 for our school year.  Sierra worked from 11-3pm at CFA.

It was a rainy day.  Gave the ground a good soaking.


Today was the date that Figgie passed away two years ago.  She was the cat that turned me into a cat mom.  I love you and miss you.  Thank you for giving me a chance to love you!


A lot of laundry to do today.  I also tried a new recipe - Cool Ranch Crunch Wraps.  Everyone like them and it will be a recipe I do again. :). I will share this recipe soon.

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
