Cleaning Day and Off to Fort Lauderdale

 Sunday, March 9

Today was a regular day of church.  The girls and I worked the preschool for the church hour.
The girls stayed after church.  They had a long youth choir practice from 12:30-4:30pm.  Then regular youth group.  So Eric and I had the afternoon and evening to ourselves.  However, that morning, my brother in law texted and it was a possibility that he needed a place to stay that night.  That was a surprise to us so I spent the entire afternoon cleaning.  LOTS of cleaning.  Then after I finished all my cleaning, I went grocery shopping.  Neil decided not to stay the night but he did come for dinner.  So I did my grocery shopping, came home and made dinner (hamburgers, pasta salad and fries).  Then I cleaned up from dinner.  What a busy day of working.
Then I had to pack because we were leaving the next morning.

Autumn has joined the Sunday night choir at Campus Church!  I love seeing this. :)

Monday, March 10

The humidity is high!

Well, this morning, we are off to Fort Lauderdale for our March Aspire event.

Got a good deal on these Adidas.

Autumn singing in the choir. :)

In the van.  I love that others had their Bibles with them and were discussing Bible topics. :)

Addie and Autumn are taking a class on Wednesday nights.  They are using this book in their class.  I bought it as well and am reading it along with them.  It is so good.

After settling in to our hotel, Eric and I took a walk over the bridge.  They had huge yachts and even a cruise ship.

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
