Summer and I came over to enjoy the sunshine and get an iced coffee. I hadn't had much sleep and I really need that coffee!

I love cups that they have personalized for the college.

We joined Addie and Autumn's Christian service group - a local Bible club that they hold in a neighborhood park.

I loved seeing them involved in this!

Pensacola Christian College owns a portion of land that is on Perdido Bay. College students can use it anytime as well as their guests. It has a beach area and we were able to take kayaks and paddleboards out on the bay.

It was a gorgeous day!

The college also has these little sailboats you can take out too!

This shore/park has a camping vibe to it. Big fire pits, evergreen trees, etc.

We can't wait to come back! Such a nice place to come to when in Pensacola.

We had such a fun weekend and Saturday with these kids! I went away so grateful.

Grateful my girls go to such a solid, Biblical Christian college.

Grateful sisters and cousin are there together.

Grateful our daughter has a great boyfriend who we enjoy having him with us.

Grateful our girls have great, godly friends.

Grateful for a beautiful weekend to visit.

Grateful to live within driving distance to their college.

Grateful my husband arranged to go with us and see his girls.

Grateful to see them thriving in such a positive, godly environment.

Thank you, God. I am grateful.

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure. 100 Days of Joy and Strength. I was struggling last night. Darkness seemed to overwhelm me. The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope." Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;" II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light." Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
