Rainy Days and Sourdough Bread

Wednesday, March 5

This morning is a warm but cloudy day.  The wind is bustling out there due to a severe thunderstorm warning.  I do love Florida for this weather!  I have sourdough ready to go in the oven to bake and boy, will that taste good today.

Sierra and I are focusing on accomplishing her nine weeks exams today.  I am getting a little stressed at this point!  With school, you can only push a kid so much.  You can't do the work for them so you are held back at their pace.  So ready to finish this nine weeks and tackle head on this last nine weeks.  Finish strong.

I love this boy. :). But he can be a stinker when he sneaks under the fence and takes a stroll!!

I made Chicago dogs and mac and cheese for dinner.  We then had choir practice at 6pm.

Thursday, March 6

School - Day 127.
Sierra worked 8-3pm.
I got in 55 min on the treadmill at the gym.

Ran to Aldi.  Corned beef was $2.99 a lb. so I got 4 packages to freeze.

I literally can't believe the price of eggs.

They had these nice small pans.  I got one of each.
I made BLT's for dinner.
I took Summer to AHG and then to youth choir tour practice.

This sweet girl.  I love her.  She comes and loves on me at night.

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
