Hello March!

Hello March!

March is an iffy month.  LOL!  Yes, spring arrives but we can either have a lion or a lamb!  March is a little different here in Florida and I am very ok with it! :)

With my birthday in March, especially growing up in Ohio, my birthday was usually dreary and cold.  Not the best for a sun-loving girl.  Living in Reno many years, it was hit or miss.  It could be 70 or it could be snowing.  That's mountain/high desert life for ya.

I have had one birthday in Florida, so far, and I spent it at the pool. :) Yes, I am VERY ok with that! This year, I am turning 48.  Embracing my age and counting my blessings. :)

We will be going to Ft. Lauderdale, FL for our March Aspire event.

Sierra and Summer will be going for a week to Washington DC on our church's Youth Choir Tour.  This is a huge deal for them and they have been working hard!  I am excited for this opportunity for them.

At the end of the month, we will go to Pensacola to see Autumn in a play - Freiheit.  I am very excited to see her even though her part is small.

What is in store for you this March?

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
