February Visit to PCC - Friday

On Friday, February 28, Eric, Summer and I drove to Pensacola for an overnight visit to our college girls.  I drove and I was laughing at my husband.  Normally, I am the one cold with a blanket.  He was cold with my AC on.  Ha!

Our senior!  We are so proud of this girl.  Finishing up her last semester of her college career.

Summer really enjoyed getting some time with her older sisters by herself.  Autumn even shared an outfit with her to wear on campus.

Autumn before heading to work at Four Winds Dining there on campus.

It was an absolute beautiful, gorgeous weekend in Pensacola!  I love Florida!!

My girls. :)
Addie is 21 and a senior at Pensacola Christian College.  Autumn is 19 and a freshman.  Summer is 14 and a freshman in high school.

While Autumn was finishing her work shift, we went to the Sports Center with Brad and Addie and played pool.

We had a lot of fun!

After Kylee finished her responsibilities, we took them to Steak and Shake for dinner.

We came back to campus and went bowling.  Autumn joined us.

Why yes, I did get the highest score. :)

Our crew. :)

Then we went rock climbing.  Well, Summer really wanted to try it.  Autumn, Eric and Brad also climbed. :)

What a fun day with our kiddos!

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
