During this unusual time of the coronavirus of 2020, there have been many things said to encourage, uplift and strengthen fellow Christians. I remember many posting the familiar verse from II Chronicles 7:14 . "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." As I was walking my dog one morning, I was pondering this verse. I mean, there is a lot of responsibility for Christians in this one verse. Humbling ourselves, praying, seeking God and turning from our sin. Do we really mean to do these four things or are we simply wanting God to hear our prayer, forgive us and heal our land?
