March was quite the whirlwind for me! Maybe for you too. I'm grateful it is passed and I look forward to a new month full of regular days, maybe a few adventures and just connecting with the Lord and leaning on Him for our future. :)

Evan's 13th Birthday Party
On Monday, March 22nd, we went to a birthday party for my nephew at my sister's house. The kids love getting to be outside on the nicer days.
Even Max gets to come and enjoy playing. :)

Hike: The Trail of Ten Falls
Saturday, March 27 - our family went on a beautiful hike at Silver Falls State Park here in Oregon. The trail was called the Trail of Ten Falls. We parked at the South Falls Day Use Area - parking lot and went on the Rim Trail first.
It was a little chilly starting out - especially in the shade.
The first falls we came to was Winter Falls - below.
The next falls is Upper North Falls - below.
The little creek is so pretty! Reminded me of the Truckee River in Reno.

The next falls was Twin Falls - above. A smaller one but you can see how it looks like it is split in two.

The next falls was Double Falls - above. If you look closely, you will see the small waterfall at the top that goes into the second waterfall. It didn't come out too well in the photo.

This was an amazing hike - definitely a must do in our area of Oregon!
Addie's friend from Reno - our old church in Reno - Chris - came to visit for a few days and was with us on the hike. You will see him in a few pictures.
