Sad Day

So last night, I didn't realize I had a huge folder of photos checked...and I pressed the delete button for a different item.  And there went ALL my photos.

Every just had a super bad night?  That was last night.  When we reversed them from the Recycle Bin, there were only the "Live" photos - no JPEGS.  I cried.

After paying for software, I was able to get a few months of photos back - but there are a lot that still aren't showing up.

I'm just so sad.  So sad.

That's all for today.  :(

Random Summer Photos...

 Random photos from the summer.

In memory of my Belle.

Stormy, summer days.

Stormy or just cloudy days made it so dark in my house there in Ohio!  We had very large trees and it blocked a lot of natural light.  This is literally how it would look in my house some days even in the summer.

When you start the packing up process.

Packing up stuffed animals.  Silly times.

Ironic how this was the scene just one year earlier.

This was a gift that was delivered to our home - a beautiful wrapped wooden box filled with homemade chocolate chip cookies.  It was from the Coon family.  It was a kind gesture that blessed our family.

Someone else dropped off some garden produce.

He still acts like a puppy sometimes!

Summer Flashbacks!

Our neighbors/landlords were gone on vacation for a week.  They let us use their pool and hot tub.  It was the best week of the summer!

Nothing that says relaxation like having a pool right next door.  We would go over and catch the sun in the pool all afternoon - it was a very shady backyard.  In the evening after dinner, we would go over and use the hot tub when it was dusk until dark/bedtime.

Watermelon smoothies and a good book!  My favorites in the summer sun!

I could definitely live in a summer like place all year long.  I love my sun!

Just a few fun videos!

Dinners!

Sister brought her home a kid's meal from Chick-Fil-A!

Summer storm.

Tired girl.

Yellow flowers are my love language!

Always following Mom around!

I was at the neighbors cleaning out their pool and made this video of Addie playing the piano - you can hear it through the open windows.

The Countdown Is Almost Done

Final goodbyes are so tough.  This is my cousin's daughter.  Amanda is my cousin and this is Harper, her daughter.  Summer and Harper were peas in a pod and just clicked from the moment they met.  I am so glad they had this time together.  They even have the same middle name - Lyn.

For the last couple days, we slept on air mattresses in my bedroom in order to keep the entire second floor clean.

We had a good laugh at my dad trying on this overcoat.  Just a little small.  To the garbage it went!

I love this picture - my beautiful babies with my wonderful parents.

Mom and Dad love Max so we had to get a picture of them. :)

Hardest moment in leaving Ohio - leaving behind my parents.  I love them dearly and thank God for them!

One last bath before our road trip!

Packing Up Our Home!

The last days in Ohio...packing up an entire house!  Yikes.

I had to save this text between my daughter and myself.  Ha!

Just a little fun thing I enjoyed - Custer State Park having their live roundup of the bison.  I love things like this!

Pictures of how it looked packing up our house.  My husband moved six weeks before we did.  So this was all me.  That was fun.  LOL!!

This was funny - Autumn trying to get pictures of Max in his bow tie.  LOL!

A girl and her dog.

My Max.

Our last Sunday at Monclova Road Baptist Church.  It was a very fun memory for me - we attended church here from mid July to end of September and every service was under the tent.  I absolutely enjoyed it and I am so grateful for a place to attend those difficult weeks.

After church, we went to Grand Rapids, OH.  Many of the shops were not open but we still enjoyed the little Main Street.

I wanted to get a little gift for my parents to give them before we left them.  I found this little sign which is perfect for my parents.  I also gave them some local apple butter.
I was leaving my country roads and home.  I am grateful for the one year that we were here to make memories on those country roads that led me back home.

And this I bought for me.  So much had happened.  Much I just want to leave and forget - forever.  I don't want to visit it ever again.  This is a good reminder and I have it on my desk - "Every moment is a fresh beginning."

A huge encouragement to me and our family happened through Pastor Jeremy Rands - Monclova Road Baptist Church.
One day, after my husband had already moved to Oregon, we received a check for $500 from Monclova Road Baptist Church.  Pastor Rands sought to be a blessing to us and helping to meet any needs we had.  Which moving is a huge cost and it was a blessing and help!

Our last Sunday, he sought me and my daughters out at the end of the service.  He took time to talk with my girls.  He gave them each $50 for spending money as we traveled across the country.

I will not be able to truly express what this meant to me as a mom.  Our daughters had to leave the church they knew for nine years with their dad as their pastor...move to a new state, home and church and then after eleven months, it was over.  No goodbyes.  It was so difficult.  And I know it was so hard on my girls.  And I hated that.  Do what you want to me.  Say what you want to me.  Ignore me and go on as if I never existed.  Delete me and my existence.  But when you do it to my husband and my babies - it's something that makes a mom's heart want to cry and then fight.

So when this pastor understood and took time and reached out as he did, it was a gesture that will never be forgotten by me.  He loved on my babies who had been dropped like a hot rock.
God bless you a thousand times over, Pastor Rands.

Things were getting real.  The truck was dropped off.

This was the view from the little road where I grew up.  That was the Catholic Church on the corner.  Old home scene.

Cookies, water and tie downs for the movers.

Since my husband wasn't there and didn't have the time off work to move back - it was literally just me and my girls - I hired a moving company to pack up the truck for us.

Our time was coming to a close.
