My Fourth Trip to Reno!

 Tuesday morning, I headed off for my fourth trip to Reno.








Just a few pictures from my drive down to Reno.


There's not much to tell about the drive down.  LOL!  It takes, with stops, about 9 1/2 hours, so I listened to a lot of podcasts.  And I prayed.  I won't lie - I was VERY stressed out just thinking about this upcoming trip.  So much on my mind about getting everything done and renters and augh!


I stopped in to see the progress on the house when I arrived.  I was expecting to see most done but the flooring hadn't even been started.  Honestly, it was pretty discouraging.  I didn't know what to think.  I found out my handyman had lost two workers and it put him behind.

Well, I thought I would post a sneak peek.  In the above picture, you can see the previous color in the inside and the new color on the outside.  It is a light gray with tan undertones.


After I left, I grabbed my free birthday sub from Jersey Mike's for a late dinner and headed to Papa Vern's where I was staying.

You May Abound In Hope

Today I completed a devotional book by Candace Cameron Bure.  100 Days of Joy and Strength.  I was struggling last night.  Darkness seemed to overwhelm me.  The last day of this devotional gave me exactly the encouragement I needed to go another day. Here are the verses she shared from God's Word. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."  Psalm 130:5 "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;"  II Corinthians 4:8-9 "As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Do not gloat over me, my enemy!  Though I have fallen, I will rise.  Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."  Micah 7:7-8 "I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."...
