Exploring our Metroparks: Secor Metropark Part 1

Another outing to a Metropark.  Just Summer came with me this time.  Secor Metropark. Wildflower Trail. The green swamp.  Holy moly. Two more trails - Woodland Pond and Upland Woods. Then the Prairie Trail. We walked 2.5 miles on the trails and then got Whopper Jr. meal deal through their app to finish our date. :)

Exploring our Metroparks: Toledo Botanical Garden

I wanted to share photos from our outing to the Toledo Botanical Gardens.  It is one of our local Metroparks. Many beautiful flowers in bloom. I just love lily pads! They have a really nice play area for kids. Cabin replica. Garden by the cabin. So pretty. :) After our outing, we came home and the hubby had caught and cooked us up some delicious walleye he caught in Lake Erie. :)
