On my list of family activities for the holiday season was 39 North at the Victorian Square in Sparks. We did this event last year and enjoyed it. This year just Autumn and Summer went with me. And boy, was it cold!
One of the reasons I wanted to go was to hear the handbell choir, Tintabulations perform. They were fantastic! Handbell ensembles truly are beautiful and this was a wonderful concert they gave.
They had some beautiful lights but we were sad that the train was not running. That was Summer's favorite from last year.
We enjoyed the concert and the lights and stopped for some mini churros on the way home and finished up the night with a Christmas movie. :)
