Recipe: Easy Potsticker Soup

I made this DELICIOUS soup to go with the eggrolls I posted about last week...perfect dinner combo!  
Try this soup...it is wonderful!


Easy Potsticker Soup

1/2 lb. Chinese or Napa cabbage, thinly sliced
2 medium carrots, cut into matchsticks
1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. rice vinegar
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp. minced fresh gingerroot or 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
8 cups chicken broth
1 package (16 oz.) frozen chicken potstickers
Chow mein noodles

In a slow cooker, combine the first nine ingredients.  Stir in broth.  Cook on low 5-6 hours until vegetables are tender.  Add potstickers, cook on high covered, for 15-20 minutes.  Sprinkle with chow mein noodles before serving.

*I made this on the stove - if you don't have time for the crockpot.
*Add more broth if you like.
