For our 4th of July, we had a nice, quiet day at home. After three weeks of traveling and being away, this was a perfect day for our family. I made steak kabobs and they were yummy!
I also made potato salad. Now, I enjoy a really good potato salad - but I don't like celery. So, I can be picky about potato salad! I made this but I wasn't satisfied with it. It tasted like egg salad to me! Oh well! Maybe someone can share their secret recipe with me!
It was just us and my FIL but it is always nice to set a nice table to make the day feel special.
Ahh...an elote! One of my favorite summer foods. :)
