Today is an emotional day. Our family spent Friday evening and Saturday morning watching specials, videos and live coverage of September 11 and its 20th anniversary.
I can hardly believe it has been twenty years. Twenty. Such an impactful event on our country in my adult lifetime.
My husband and I had only been married 2 1/2 months when 9/11 happened. Just starting our life. Such memories.
I'm grateful for all those who fought and worked to help and save people during that time. I also grieve with those who lost loved ones.
