Goodbye November!

Goodbye November!   The ending of fall and all things autumn.

Thanksgiving 2021

Been chilly! Thanksgiving day preparations - putting the turkeys into the brine. Last day of school on Wednesday.  It's hard to keep them focused with this kitten.  LOL! Made a lot of deviled eggs to enjoy! Thanksgiving morning - I was up at 5am to prep my turkey.  Above. Then Eric prepped his. I don't know exactly what happened to my turkey.  But yeah, it nearly fell off the bones.  I haven't baked a turkey in years.  I guess I need more practice.  LOL!  It still tasted good and was very moist. Eric's turkey had a much better presentation. LOL!  And was delicious as always. Adam and Rachel hosted Thanksgiving meal at their home.  It was their family, ours, and two families from our church - the Beigles and the Cisneros.  19 total. Rachel and Kylee made these cute desserts for the kids - Indian tepees. And Pilgrim hats. Deviled eggs Meat, cheese and cracker tray Salami wraps and pickle wraps Veggie and dip tray Apple pie Reese peanu...

Almost the holidays...

We get quite a bit of fog here in Oregon.  Here are a few photos from one of my walks recently. Last Sunday, I caught Fig watching the Miami Dolphin game on Eric's phone.  LOL! Sunday night, we came home and we had NO power from about 6:30-11pm.  Time for reading! Fig sometimes just catches me sitting down so she will jump on my lap and cuddle.  I love her! Gift from Pastor and Mrs. Mason - gift card for Target and her famous lemon poppy seed glazed bread. Matchy matchy - Max and Fig. The lemon poppy seed bread - so good! I couldn't believe it!  They finally have beef roasts on sale!!  Autumn will be glad so we can make beef and mashed potatoes. Our realtor hosted a pie drive by and handed out these delicious apple pies from Costco! Old Max.  Being such a good boy. And then there's the attack kitten.  Ha!

Elk Hunting 2021

Here are some photos of when my husband took the girls elk hunting in the coastal mountain range. Saturday, he took Autumn.  Sunday, he took Sierra.  And Monday, he took Summer. They didn't get anything but glad they made some memories.
