Sauder Village #4

Sauders Village is neat because they also have farm animals to enjoy.  Chickens, goats, sheep, cows, horses, and more. :)

One of the stops at Sauders Village is the Burlington Glass Works - Building #14.  You can often see internationally acclaimed glass artist Mark Matthews at work creating these amazing glass items!  It is one of the most incredible things to see.

You can not just stand and marvel at this art and want to purchase his one-of-a-kind works of art when you visit.

Another building to visit is the Broom Shop - #13.  A simple trade but unique in its own way.  It is hard for us to think simple things that we use every day were once something that was carefully handmade in every home.

Unique and all handmade there in the Broom Shop!  They sell functional and decorative brooms.

Even though Sauders Village is not open in the winter, it is still fun to see pictures of it in the snow.

This is the Nature Center. - Building #18.  Here you can learn about soil, water, plants, bees, wildlife, and more.
