Our last weekend together as a family, we took a three-day camping trip to Crater Lake National Park. Crater Lake is Oregon's only national park and it is only 3 1/2 hours from us. :) It was our first time to this park and well worth it. It is also a great park that you can experience in a weekend.

The land heading up to the lake in the park is pretty barren. Not much vegetation grows.

The perfect ending to a day out in nature. :)
