Goodbye June!

The summer is flying by!  What memories did you make in the past month?   I hope you took time to make some memories - spending time with family, visiting someplace new and just doing the little things like sitting by a campfire or visiting the local ice cream place.  All memories are special - big and small!   Goodbye, June!

Lazy Summer Days...

Roses for my 20th wedding anniversary. :) Cantaloupe is one of the best summer treats - always reminds me of my Grandma McCurdy's house.  They grew the best melons in Indiana. Individual softball coaching.  She has a great coach! Enjoying a bonfire in the evening. Some photos from some of Sierra and Summer's recent softball games. While Eric was out of town for work, I decided to move our bed to a different place.  I like it so much better - I'm not flat against the wall on my side.  Ha! Blinds closed - trying to keep it as cool as possible with the hot summer weather. Really enjoying our "new" piano!  Looks so much better than a regular keyboard. Hot air balloons Friday morning from my front porch. My Early Girl tomatoes are producing - can't wait! I just love veggie pizza!  We made this Sunday evening on Father's Day. Excited to see the lawn looking better after I treated it.  It had a ton of weeds and clover - slowly coming back in better! No...

VBS, Summer Camp and Summer Jam!

The month of June is flying by!  My sister and her family recently put up a pool in their backyard.  We were able to go over and swim a couple weeks ago. Some pretty flowers around our home. Sierra was able to go to camp with a new softball friend this past week.  She had a great time! Sierra and Rebekah. The group that went to camp. This past week, Summer was able to attend VBS at Timberline Baptist Church Monday-Wednesday.  She had a great time! Summer invited three neighborhood friends to come to VBS (on the left).  Also pictured are her cousins. :) Last Wednesday, from 9-11am, Summer got to go to an event - Summer Jam - hosted by Northwest Christian Church.  Just a lot of fun things to do for the kids. They have this three more times for the summer too - yay!

Happy Birthday, Jordan!

Happy birthday to my nephew, Jordan!  (left) He turns 15 today.  Jordan is the oldest son of Josh and Rhoda Gieseler, Apache Junction, AZ.

Father's Day 2021

Here are a few pictures from a point on the hill not far from where we live. :)  Father's Day 2021 Looking over the valley. Three of the highest peaks.  Beautiful! In the photos, they look so far away.  They appear much more majestic in person.
