Thursday, July 29th, we went on a family rafting trip on the Deschutes River with a company, River Drifters. We didn't take cameras/phones because we didn't want to break or lose them. So we don't have any photos of the actually rafts/trip. Just a few from the ride there and back.
My oldest - I love her. She's strong and independent. She doesn't try to be someone she's not. She's true to herself.
It was a fun experience for all the kids to do together. :)
We had two rafts. Josh, Rhoda, Summer, Melanie, Luke, Evan, Sierra and Jack were on one raft. Adam, Rachel, me, Addie, Autumn, Kylee, and Jordan were on the other raft.
We packed a picnic lunch of chicken salad sandwiches, chips, grapes, granola bars and soda and ate at a park after we got back from rafting.
For dinner: We had cheeseburgers, potato salad and baked beans at home. Rachel made brownie sundaes for Kylee's birthday which was that day.
