Jack and Summer Time

 

The week of August 9 - 14th, Rachel, Evan, Kylee, Autumn and Sierra all went to church teen camp.  Jack, my nephew, stayed with us for part of the week.

Meet Clover, Jack's new goldendoodle!  She is 4 yrs. old and a big sweetie!  We helped take care of her during the day.

Every day, we go to the library for the free summer lunch program.

In the mornings, Northwest Christian Church had a children's event from 9-11am.  Bounce houses, art, games, singing, etc.  Jack and Summer were able to attend and had a good time!

After Summer Jam activity and lunches at the park, we would go to their house to spend time with Clover and go swimming. :)

On Wednesday at 5pm, I took the kids to a small carnival that Northwest Christian Church hosted.

The kettle corn was delicious!  It is one of my favorite treats.

The kids got cotton candy. :)

It was about 104 degrees...standing on that black asphalt parking lot.  It was incredibly hot.  Within a minute, I had sweat running down my body - dripping!  Ugh!  Isn't this hot summer weather over yet??
