Reno and Heading Home

From our front lawn.  View of Peavine Mt.

Saturday it rained.  I mean, it really rained, and a lot of strong winds.  Boy, do I remember those winds!

Sunday morning, we had sunshine.  Then suddenly there came the snow!  Leave it alone for five minutes and the weather will change.

Then the blue skies came back.

Front of our rental home.  Eric fixed part of the roof while we were there but will have to come back to finish it.

Last view of Peavine.

Tried to get a couple pictures on the way home with the mountains and blue skies.

We had snow flurries off and on.

Then we hit the Cascades.  Of course, snow.  Good grief.  I'll say, it wasn't the worst that I have had to drive in over this pass.  The roads were mainly clear except when we got to the summit at 5,000 ft.  And thankfully, it wasn't dark  - at least most of the way.

On the way off the summit, the snow turned to hard rain and it got dark.  So difficult to drive and thank God for His safety!

Thank you, God, for a good, productive, and safe trip.
Good to be home!
