Outing in Portland - Part Two

After our fill of the city, which didn't take long, we wanted to get back out in nature.  We went to Mt. Tabor Park.
Another Portland site checked off on our list.

We took a hike around the reservoirs.

Climbing to the top of Mt. Tabor.
Named after the traditional site of the Transfiguration of Jesus.
Mt. Tabor is a dormant cinder cone.  Portland is one of four cities in the US to have an extinct volcano within its boundaries.
So pretty cool fact!

Ended the day with blizzards at Dairy Queen. :)
