My sister made these for her teen girls' Sunday School class and shared the recipe with me.
Cake Mix Cookies
1 boxed cake mix
1/3 cup melted butter
2 eggs
Mix ingredients together in a bowl using a rubber spatula until combined. Roll into 1″ balls and drop onto a greased cookie sheet. Some kinds of cake mixes are a little harder to roll into balls, so just do the best you can. Drop them from the spoon onto the cookie sheet and then form them if they are too hard to roll.
Bake at 350 degrees for approx 7 minutes (oven times may vary… the best way to know if your cookies are done is if the bottom is slightly golden and the top is soft but no longer wet).
You can add many different toppings. Poke toppings into the top of the cookie balls before baking instead of mixing them into the batter.
Here is a list of some toppings to use:
chocolate chips
white chocolate chips
cut up candy bars
Andes mints
nuts
sprinkles
Or you can add frosting once your cookies have cooked and cooled.
My sister said her teen class's favorite was the white confetti cake mix with white chocolate chips!
