Losing the Personal Connection

"To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats."  Isaiah 1:11

Today is Sunday.  A day where many of us are busy serving the Lord in some capacity.  And we need that. If the only time church crosses your mind is when you arrive on Sunday morning at 11am, take some time and reevaluate.  In what way can you serve the Lord in your church?

But this is not what this post is about.  It is actually quite the opposite.  Many times for many of us, Sundays are so full and busy with the work of the Lord that we forgo the one on one.

Somedays, that happens with my husband and I.  We are living in the same house...living this life together...but sometimes the personal connection is lost in the living.

And so it is with the Lord.  HE loves that you are serving HIM in the ministries of your church.  HE loves that you are attending Sunday School, Sunday morning and Sunday evening services to worship and hear HIS Word.

But HE misses you.  HE wants the personal connection with us.

Today's challenge:  Take 10 minutes today - just you and Jesus.  HE misses you.
