Yesterday, we had our Thanksgiving Chili Dinner at our church so I thought I would share my chili recipe. I have been making this recipe since I was first married 13 years ago living in a one bedroom apartment in Cedar Lake, IN. It is so easy and quick and can be put together in minutes.
Rebekah's Chili
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1/2 onion, diced
1 can tomato soup - 10 oz.
1/4 cup milk
2 cans chili beans
2 cans diced tomatoes with green chilies
salt and pepper
Brown the ground beef with the onion. Drain. Add the remaining ingredients and heat through.
Serve with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese. And maybe a melty grilled cheese sandwich. :)
