Holiday Events 2018: Reno Tree Lighting and Ice Skating

I know...my holiday posts are way behind!  But hopefully you will still enjoy them anyway.  LOL!  One of the free holiday events we did was the Reno Tree Lighting and ice skating at one of our outdoor rinks.
This sign above is actually the old Reno sign in our town.  I love it - a classic!

One of the art displays downtown.

Reno's Christmas tree downtown.

More art downtown.

The Truckee River that flows through downtown.

After the tree lighting, we went to the ice skating rink that is at Greater Nevada Field.  Greater Nevada Field is where our baseball and soccer team plays.

Ice skating was free that night which was a big deal because it is very expensive for a family of six to skate!  Yay!

After skating, we took the train ride (which was also free!) around the stadium.  I loved how they lit up the field.  It was a lot of fun and our kids, even though they are getting older, still enjoyed it.

This is more art in front of the rink.  It is my favorite because it is of our slogan - "Home Means Nevada".

A picture of me and the hubby in front of the tree downtown.
