Exodus 1
How did you become who you are today?
God's missional timing is meeting with the Israelites' readiness.
Ways He Prepared Them:
1. Growing numerically. 70 - 2 million in 400 years
2. Growing in unification in shared experiences.
3. Growing with a desire for change.
4. Growing into a sense of resilience.
5. Growing in what they learned living among the Egyptians.
6. Growing a sense of convictions and values.
7. Growing compassion for the vulnerable.
8. Growing a justice for the wicked.
Your journey has a meaning and purpose.
Freedom to what's next.
Formation is about focus. Where your focus is where your formation comes from.
II Corinthians 3:18
Do you have a vision for your life? What would it take for you to make a change?
Write out your personal vision statement. Make sure to include what you think your role in the community of faith should look like.
