Recipe: Simple Shepherd's Pie

On Monday, I mentioned having Shepherd's Pie for dinner.  Here is my simple recipe for my shepherd's pie.


Simple Shepherd's Pie

2 lbs. ground beef
Diced onions
2 cans beef gravy
1 bag frozen carrots or corn (I cut a corner off the bag and microwave for 4 or 5 minutes.) Whatever veggies you prefer!
Prepared mashed potatoes (About 2 lbs)
Shredded cheddar cheese

Fry the ground beef and onions and drain the grease.  Add the gravy and carrots/corn and heat through.  Place in 9x13 baking dish - beef mixture topped with mashed potatoes and sprinkled with cheese.  Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly.

Comfort food!
